I wish all dogs were as easy to teach as a Labrador is.  Labradors absolutely love to be trained.  It is simple to teach a labrador obedience.  They love the attention and affection they get when they do a job well done.  They want nothing more than to please you and make you happy.  They will go out of their way to make sure that they have done the trick the way you wanted them too.  They do not need a ton of treats.  They thrive off of nothing more than your love and affection when they have done a great job.
