Every so often I have to reach into my birds cage and remove one of her favorite parrots toys for an inspection and cleaning. Kiki is very forceful when inside her cage and does not like any hands inside. However, once outside of her cage she is a little charmer. When I remove a favorite toy, I quickly replace it with an identical toy in hopes of tricking her. I am sure she knows it’s not the exact same toy but she seems to accept this without a protest. Being a Quaker Parrot, she is stereotypical of her species while inside the cage.
