The size of a dog kennel will depend on how big your dog is. I don’t mean just today, but also how big he is going to become over the next few months. Remember, you may have a puppy now, but he or she will quickly grow into those paws. And, if it gets really big you’ll probably want to get a dog kennel made either from wire mesh or galvanized steel. The ground cover can be original dirt or even a concrete slab. If your dog is a real digger (like my Lab) you probably want something more than dirt under his kennel.
